How adding and removing seats works

Adding and removing seats does not behave the same way in Replaiy. One change can happen immediately, while the other normally takes effect at the next billing cycle.

Adding seats

If you add seats within a Team workspace:

• The new seats become available during the active cycle.

• You are charged pro-rata for the remaining time in that cycle.

• The billing cycle does not reset.

Removing seats

If you remove seats:

• The change usually takes effect on the next billing cycle.

• The current paid cycle remains active as-is.

• There is no refund for the unused part of the cycle.

Why the timing is different

This setup keeps billing more predictable. It allows customers to expand access immediately when needed, while preventing mid-cycle complexity on removals.
