Version 1.1

1. Introduction

This Cookie Policy explains how Replaiy B.V. ("Replaiy," "we," "us," or "our") uses cookies and similar technologies on our marketing website at https://replaiy.ai and within our product application at https://replaiy.app (together, the "Sites"). It supplements our Privacy Policy.

We aim to keep our use of cookies and tracking technologies to the minimum necessary, and we ask for your consent before setting any non-essential cookies on our marketing website.

2. What Are Cookies?

Cookies are small text files placed on your device when you visit a website. They are widely used to make websites work, improve their functionality, and provide reporting information. "Similar technologies" include local storage, session storage, pixels, and device identifiers that perform comparable functions.

3. Where Cookies Are Used

We treat our marketing website and our product application differently.

3.1 Marketing Website (replaiy.ai)

On our marketing website, we use both strictly necessary cookies and, with your consent, analytics cookies provided by third parties (Microsoft Clarity and Google Analytics). A cookie consent banner is displayed on your first visit. Non-essential cookies are only set after you give consent.

3.2 Product Application (replaiy.app)

Within our product application, we do not use Microsoft Clarity, Google Analytics, advertising cookies, or third-party marketing pixels. We only set cookies and similar technologies that are strictly necessary for the application to function (e.g., authentication, session, security). Analytics within the application is performed via PostHog (EU Cloud), configured without setting non-essential cookies and with IP address anonymization enabled.

4. Strictly Necessary Cookies (Both Sites)

These cookies are essential for the Sites to function. They cannot be switched off and do not require consent under the Dutch Telecommunications Act (Article 11.7a) and the ePrivacy Directive.

Examples include:

  • Session cookies β€” used to keep you logged in during a browsing session.

  • Authentication cookies β€” used to verify your identity after login.

  • Security cookies β€” used to detect and prevent fraudulent activity, abuse, and unauthorized access.

  • Load-balancing cookies β€” used to ensure the Sites run efficiently and are available.

  • Consent cookies β€” used to remember your cookie preferences on the marketing website.

5. Analytics Cookies (Marketing Website Only β€” Consent Required)

The following analytics tools are used on replaiy.ai only with your prior consent. They are not used inside the product application (replaiy.app).

5.1 Microsoft Clarity

  • Purpose: Understand how visitors interact with our marketing website (clicks, scrolls, session recordings, heatmaps).

  • Data processed: Pages visited, clicks, scroll behavior, browser and device information, IP address (used for approximate location and then anonymized by Microsoft).

  • Provider: Microsoft Corporation (United States).

  • Transfer mechanism: Standard Contractual Clauses with supplementary measures.

  • Cookies set: clck, clsk, CLID, ANONCHK, MR, MUID, SM (subject to change by Microsoft).

  • Retention: Up to 1 year, depending on the cookie.

  • Privacy policy: privacy.microsoft.com/privacystatement

  • Opt-out: Withdraw consent via the cookie banner or by clearing cookies in your browser.

5.2 Google Analytics

  • Purpose: Measure traffic, sessions, and conversion behavior on our marketing website.

  • Data processed: Pages visited, session duration, referrer, browser and device information, IP address (truncated by Google for EU traffic).

  • Provider: Google Ireland Limited / Google LLC (United States).

  • Transfer mechanism: Standard Contractual Clauses with supplementary measures.

  • Cookies set: ga, ga*, gid, _gat (subject to change by Google).

  • Retention: Up to 2 years, depending on the cookie.

  • Privacy policy: policies.google.com/privacy

  • Opt-out: Withdraw consent via the cookie banner, or use the Google Analytics opt-out add-on at tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout.

6. Local Storage and Session Storage

Within the product application, we use browser local storage and session storage to remember basic preferences (such as language, theme, or interface settings) and to support the functioning of the application during your session. These technologies are strictly necessary and do not transmit information to third parties.

7. Your Choices

7.1 On replaiy.ai (Marketing Website)

When you first visit replaiy.ai, you will see a cookie consent banner allowing you to:

  • Accept all cookies

  • Reject non-essential cookies

  • Customize your preferences

You can change your preferences at any time by clicking the cookie settings link in the website footer or by clearing cookies in your browser.

Strictly necessary cookies are always active because they are required for the website to function.

7.2 On replaiy.app (Product Application)

Because the product application uses only strictly necessary cookies, no consent banner is shown. If we ever introduce non-essential cookies in the application, we will implement an appropriate consent mechanism before they are set.

7.3 Browser Settings

You can also control cookies via your browser settings. Most browsers let you:

  • Block cookies from being set.

  • Delete cookies that have already been set.

  • Receive a notification when cookies are being set.

Blocking strictly necessary cookies may cause parts of the Sites to function incorrectly.

Browser-specific guidance:

  • Chrome: support.google.com/chrome/answer/95647

  • Firefox: support.mozilla.org/kb/cookies-information-websites-store-on-your-computer

  • Safari: support.apple.com/guide/safari/manage-cookies-sfri11471

  • Edge: support.microsoft.com/microsoft-edge

8. International Data Transfers

Microsoft Clarity and Google Analytics involve transfers of personal data to the United States. We rely on Standard Contractual Clauses adopted by the European Commission and supplementary technical and contractual measures to safeguard such transfers, in line with the GDPR. You may request more information about these safeguards by contacting dpa@replaiy.ai.

9. Do Not Track

Where technically feasible, we respect "Do Not Track" signals on our marketing website by treating them as an indication that you do not consent to non-essential cookies.

10. Updates to This Cookie Policy

We may update this Cookie Policy from time to time, for example if we add new tools or change how we use existing ones. Material changes will be communicated as set out in our Privacy Policy. The "Last updated" date at the top reflects the most recent revision.
